General Information
The Highland View Academy Music Department invites all students in grades 6-10 to join us for a weekend of music making, skill building and fun.
Schedule:
Registration will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2020 from 10:30 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. in the HVA lobby.
Friday night, there will be a special Vespers program.
The weekend highlight will be the sacred concert on Sabbath, March 14, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. featuring the festival ensembles.
Deadlines and Costs
$25.00 per participant & Chaperones (deadline 2/7/20)
Please send money with application. Make checks out to: Highland View Academy.
Extra meal tickets may be purchased at the business office for $6.00.
Music:
Band Music will be sent out after registration information is received. Every school must purchase the music for choir and handbells. All music parts are to be learned before coming to the festival. Parts will be available at this website.

Housing
All housing will be on the Highland View Academy campus in the school dormitories or Mt. Aetna Camp & Retreat Center (if needed-separate cost). Local students are requested to stay at home during the festival.
Supervision
Supervision is the responsibility of the sponsors. There must be one sponsor for girls and one sponsor for boys. Additional sponsors will be asked to pay the participant's fee.
What to bring:
Festival music
Sleeping bag and pillow
Soap, toothbrush, towels, etc.
School clothes for rehearsals/concerts
Modest Sports attire for recreation times
Nice Sabbath clothes for Vespers and Sabbath morning services.
Concert attire for the performances
Required Concert Attire:
Girls:Black/dark skirt and white/light blouse,
and black/dark shoes.
Boys: Black/dark dress pants, white/light shirt and tie, and black/dark shoes
