Music tour 2024 - Florida (Orlando and Miami) 

The music department is planning to go to Florida on April 24-28, 2024.  We are still in the planning and confirmation of venues and places.  The approval request will be submitted to the school board on Nov 6. Once receiving approval, we will announce all the details. However, as part of the planning and budget we need to have some numbers to confirm prices and bookings. For budget purposes we need a minimal of 40 passengers.

Itinerary - Approx. cost $1350
Tuesday,  April 23 - Flight to Orlando
Wednesday, April 24 -

• schools performances (2 in the morning). 
• Afternoon visit to tourist attraction (TBA).

Thursday, April 25 - trip to Miami, FL. Beach trip (Key Biscayne) and hotel check in. 
Friday, April 26 -

• Schools concerts (Greater Miami Academy, Miami Union Academy) .
• Afternoon visit to everglades national park for airboat ride). 
• Concert at Kendall Spanish church 7:30 pm. 

Sabbath, April 27 -

• Morning concert at Miami Springs SDA.
• Afternoon concert at Miami Temple SDA. 

Sunday, April 28 - Hotel check out - stop at Biscayne museum, and then to the airport.  Returning to DC on Sunday evening.
