HVA Promotional Tour

New York - Connecticut

Highland View Academy promotional music tour to Connecticut and New York.  Participant groups: Highlanders, Handbells, strings and selected winds. 
Date: March 27 - 30

Itinerary:

March 27 (Thursday) - Loading by Music room from 7:30 am, departure: 8:00 am 
* Stop at school performance (TBA)
* Stop at American Dream Mall in NJ. - (Lunch) 
* Arrival at Dunbury CT. 

March 28 (Friday) 
* Video project at  Bridgeport.(Beach) - Wear school black polo and khaki pants.
*  Friday night - Concert at Bridgeport Portuguese SDA. 7:00 pm

March 29 (Sabbath)
* Worship service at Danbury SDA.  Morning. Potluck
* Afternoon concert at Bridgeport SDA Spanish (TBC)
* Supper and rec time at the mall. 

March 30 (Sunday) 
* heading to Manhattan -NY boat trip.
* lunch at TBD and return to HVA. 

Costs:
Hotel: $150 (3 nights)
Food $120
Attractions $50
Transportation: $30 

Total: $350 (Due by March 25)

Packing list:

* Performance attire (Official). For Friday night and Sabbath performances. 
* School black polo and khaki pants for school performance. (Bring your HVA school hoodie). 
* All other clothing must follow school dress code. 
* Your instrument, music, music stand. 
* Personal hygiene items.
* Medicine if needed 
* Xtra cash for personal purchases (you will receive back $30 per day for meals, breakfast are included at the Hotel) - We are staying at "La Quita Inn - Dandbyrt, CT)


Trip Rules:

* Be on time at all times. 
* Curfew times 10:00 pm every night.
* No mixed gender traveling. 
* No doordash deliveries to Hotel. 
* Be always in the group and with the group. At free times in Mall, groups of at least 5 should be always together. 
*  Cellphones are allowed during the trip. But not Cellphone allowed during church concerts. 
* Not loud music or bluetooth speakers during the trip. Use headphones to listen to music if you wish. 
* Be respectful to everyone, but NOT engaging in conversations with strangers.
